I JUST started learning Esperanto and my vocabulary is limited to about 20, so I can only write English here...
hope I can learn from all of you!

Saluton. I'm learning Esperanto but am still very limited in what I can say/write. I've started writing part of my comics/storys in Esperanto (though it's still mostly in English) and was wondering if any Fluent Esperantists would help with my grammer. Thanks :)

I'm not exactly fluent but, if you wish, I'll check your writing if you ask me.

This is the one I'm doing now. (Basically two of my characters are fighting over the bathroom) I'll write what I want to say in english then what I've translated it to in Esperanto... (Obviously) Some of the words I got off Google translate (because I couldn't find them in my book) so if it sounds weird I apologise.

Leo: You leave the bathroom!
Vi forlasas la banejo!

Leo: Short man!
Mallonga viro!

JJ: I have a hunchback. What is your excuse?
Mi havas ĝibulo. Kio estas via ekskuzo?

JJ: What is your problem tonight?
Kio estas via problemo nokte?

Leo: You don't know?
ĉu vi ne scias?

Leo: Why should you know?
Kial vi scias?

Leo: Enjoy the bathroom.
Ĝuu la banejo.

Vi eliras la banejo!
Kio estas via problemo ĉi-nokte?
Kial vi scius?

Saluton mi estas Esperanto-parolanto mi scias Mi havas malbonan Esperanton :nuu:. My main language is English and I can speak Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Esperanto because they are all pretty similar and if you want to know exactly how you can read my ID.

I am considering learning Esperanto, but I just have one question. Since esperanto is a mix of many languages, could I be understood by non-esperanto speaking people? Say I was speaking to someone who only spoke french or spanish, would they get a pretty good idea what I was saying? Like my aunt speaks spanish, and in italy they could pretty much understand everything she was saying, would esperanto be the same? If so what languages would this work with because I can already speak quite a bit of french and spanish.

They would be able to understand some words written down, but not spoken as the pronouciation follows the germanic/slavic languages more than the romantic languages
